I am still here.
The project in Rio de Janeiro is a real interesting. The project is for the Eletricity Company. They will change the way they measure the amount of energy that every house spends. It will be measure with a GPRS technology. We are working in the system and in the procedures.
The project's due date is in September. I will be traveling back and forth every week. At this phase of the project I will stay 3 days a week there. It will have phases that I will stay all week and phase that I won't go.
One interesting thing is the flight time. It takes only 3o minutes from the plane's departure to the plane's lading. This is a bussiness route. A lot of people go early in the morning and come back in th end of the day. It is called Ponte Aérea Rio-São Paulo (Air Bridge Rio-São Paulo). Last Thursday, I was able to take an early flight. As soon as we entered the plane, all the departures were suspended because of the bad weather in São Paulo. So, we waited for 32 long minutes inside of the plane. After we departure and we were almost in São Paulo, the pilot said the São Paulo's airport was closed again because of the bad weather and we were supposed to spend sometime flying around until it opened again. We were flying for 75 minutes until the traffic control guys autorized the flight's landing. More 35 minutes to get home because of the traffic caos.... And I was finally home after 142 minutes.
